Welcome Ciara Rae Dessart!

What a great weekend.  The weather was beautiful, nice enough for us to patch up the lawn on Saturday (Duncan's potent urine burns it out each year), and we enjoyed a great Saturday evening playing cards with Kevin and Melissa.  Melissa (the other Melissa) was due this weekend and this was going to be our last chance to play some cards for a while.  

Sunday morning the phone rang, it was go time for the Dessarts.  We were asked to take care of Ethan and Ari while they went to the hospital.  As my Melissa puts it, you could tell it was their third child because Melissa was doing dishes during contractions.  After a few hours, we got word of a beautiful baby girl.  Ciara Rae joined the world healthy and happy.  Everyone is doing well.  Arianna was so excited, it was adorable when we went to see the family at the hospital.  

For Melissa and I, it was very cool.  A little glimpse into what lies ahead of us in under 5 months.  The smiles on our faces told the story.  We are so jazzed and ready to learn and be leaders for our children.  Life is beautiful.  Welcome Ciara... your cousin will be joining you in a few months.  Much love.  - Adam, Melissa, Duncan and Baby
