Pumpkins, Jumping Castle and Animals... oh my!

A few short weeks ago we ventured to one of our favorite places, Sun Country Farms pumpkin patch. I guess mom and dad have been coming here for years, since I was just a twinkle.

Now I'm a big 2 year old twinkle and I got to go do some fun stuff! Enjoy the pictures below and I'll add some silly commentary per usual.

Ahhh, the family photo. We sat on this big wagon filled with pumpkins. Mom and dad made me sit and smile, but all I wanted to do was run around on the wagon and navigate the pumpkin minefield. A nice lady took this picture of me and my buddies - only Duncan is "missing" from the picture.

I loved to jump in the bounce house, it was a haunted bounce house but I told the ghosts where to go! I had SUCH a fun time jumping around with friends that when it was time to go, I didn't want to. Mom came in to get me, but dad says mom just wanted to go in and jump too. She's a big kid!

The driver on the bus says "Move on back, move on back, move on back"... I'm in charge now! Next stop: feeding the animals.

This is my friend Billy, Billy goat. I fed him lots of corn! Well, really I grabbed some corn and Billy helped himself to it. I laughed and laughed because it tickled! Billy was a lot cooler than the sheep. One of them thought my pinky made for an excellent snack - I disagreed. It hurt and made me cry! We settled out of court... I didn't feed him or his sheep friends again, that showed him!

Grrrrrarrrr! Tiger on the loose with loot! This Halloween thing is apparently filled with candy! That's good for me, bad for my parental units. More to come from Halloween including... my cousins, my costumes and my Green Bay b-day party!
Love you all!

So many pictures to share...we have been bad!

Jake turned 2 at the end of September! Wow, time really does fly. We did a little mini celebration! He got to open some presents, but I don't think they topped the Buzz balloon! As you can see in all of the pictures, when you ask him to smile, he definitely likes to put all of his face into his smiles! Enjoy the pictures, we do have more to come. A visit to the pumpkin patch is coming....

He blew the candles out all by himself!

Hanging out with my cousins Ari and Ciara!
Here in Minnesota, they give out driver's licenses to anyone! I smiled as I drove thru the red light!

Love you all!

We have been neglecting...sorry

Hello there!

We are very sorry to have been neglecting the blog. We have been doing a lot of things around the house lately. We are painting pretty much the whole house, so that has been taking up some time. We had a big garage sale a few weeks ago with some friends and made some money. We have just been getting ready for fall. A few weeks ago Grandma Karen came to visit and we went to the fair with the Wilson's - had a BLAST! We went camping at the end of July with some friends and had fun. It was the first camping trip as a family and it was very hot. We had a good time though. Here are a few pictures!

Enjoy!

Summer fun...

Hello my peeps!
I know it has been a long time. I have been busy soaking up the rays this summer outside! I love playing in the pool and going to the park. I think that I am the cats meow, let me tell you!
Not a whole lot to update you on. Daddy starts his new position as a Buyer at Target tomorrow. Mommy and I still go to work/school together everyday. We are sad that summer is half way done. Duncan still barks too much. I am talking a ton and I love gummies!!!
Enjoy the pictures!
Love Jake

My little Joe Mauer...

This weekend I got a new T-ball set. I have been trying to play with the big softballs and metal bat that mom and dad use to play softball, but it just got to be to heavy. Also, mom really didn't like me practicing my $45 million dollar swing with the metal bat by her car! So, we went to the front yard and I got to practicing. Mom thinks that I will be the next Joe Mauer (that's right, go Twins)...I am showing a strong throw with my right arm and a killer lefty swing! Check it out....

Just getting the ball ready....and....

Check out that swing. Notice that I put my full body into it. I even have my left hand on top. I keep my elbow up, just like Dad says!

Cheeeeeese~

Ooooo, the hose....water time!
We had a great weekend. We didn't get to go home, but we wish our friends Jake and Elizabeth a great and happy life together! They got hitched....finally! We hope to see them soon! We did make a trip to the Como Zoo this morning... more pictures to come this week. I can't put all the pictures into one album...at least not tonight!
Love Jake

Smoothie King

Hello Friends!

Today I am seeing the sun for the first time in a week. No... NOT because I've been punished from seeing the outside for not eating veggies, but because the weather has stunk pretty badly - rain, rain, cold and clouds! A friend of mine suggested we get our Handy Manny tool sets and build and Ark. We held off in favor of eating animal crackers and hitting on girls.

I've attached a few pictures of "Smoothie Time" - my favorite time of the day. After a run or when I'm not eating well, dad gets out the blender and ingredients. Mom catches a chair and we're having a party! I'm the helper. I toss fruit in and dad does the "easy" work pushing the buttons. I try to help, but I make a mess if I hit the buttons without the cover on. Those parents, quick learners... keep it unplugged until the cover is on! Geesh!

This is super yummy, I yell "Smooooothies" whenever I see the blender.

Much love,
-Jacob

Oh... Duncan say's send chewies, silly puppy cant type.

My new kitchen...yay!

So, this past weekend, our friend Adam Neuville came out to help us install our new floor throughout the kitchen and dining room. He did an amazing job. We could not have done it without him! We may still be working on it if he hadn't come out. Plus, he had really neat tools that made it very easy!
So, here are some before and after pictures of each area! We also got new stainless steal appliances! They are awesome and look so good.
In the first picture, you will notice a vacuum in the corner. That is my new Dyson with the ball! It is awesome! I works so well and I would recommend it without a doubt to everyone!!

This is the pantry before and after....

Main kitchen area before and after...

Dining area before and after...the second picture is a little off, but you get the idea!

We love it and hope you all can see it in person!
Love all of you!

Before and After....

So, this is mom's new fridge. We got a super deal on it! We put it in place but it will have to be moved to put the new floor in. We will have lots of before and after pictures over the next few weeks of all the new stuff!

Mom thought I needed a new summer haircut! What do you say, I am a handsome one, hey?

I thought that Dad's "toy box" was a tone of fun. I played with little silver round things for an hour and a half. It was so fun! Oh yeah, I mean that I helped Dad put in the new dishwasher!! Yeah!

I gathered all the tools for him.

So, there are a few more pictures. We will keep updating as the house gets updated!
Tomorrow, Dad and his friend Adam are going to put in the floor! Mom and I will be at school and then we come home and have to take Duncan to see the vet to get his heart worm stuff!
We love you!
Jake

You would think it is 2020, right?

Okay, so these pictures are very out of order, so I apologize in advance. I wanted to get a bunch of pictures up for everyone seeing as though it has been so long since I have gotten them up.
In a short preview of the past couple of months we have not done to much. Jake is getting very big and is talking a lot. We recently got a new computer (hence part of the delay in blog updates) and we also recently went home for Easter weekend for the first time since Christmas. So, here goes...
