Almost Happy August...and I am officially 10 months old!

Hi Everyone~
Here are some more pictures from last weeks fun at the water park. I definitely like the water!
I am now 10 months old! That is really crazy. Only 2 more months until I turn 1 and I still don't have any teeth. Although, I have been a bit crabby the past couple of days, so mom thinks I might finally be teething. I am still a good eater. I love all kinds of fruit and meat. Not too sure about carrots though.
Mom is still waiting to hear if she needs to have surgery on her ACL. We don't know yet. In other news, mom is starting a new job soon. She has been working with autistic kids for a long time now and has really enjoyed working at the Lovaas Institute. However, pretty soon, she gets to go to work and be with me all day. She took a job to train to be a Director of my daycare, Kindercare. I am very excited to go to work with mom. We will have a lot of fun!
In other news, Dad is training hard for the Twin Cities Marathon in October. He is doing very well.

So, mom has had a rough week. She hurt her knee in softball on Monday and has been home this week resting it. I am thinking that after getting a big scrap on her right leg, hurting her left knee and Dad having to get stitches in his chin from playing softball this summer, maybe they should take up another activity such as knitting or chess.
I also have had a rough couple of days. I have another ear infection and the doctor says that I should probably get ear tubes. Not so fun. I guess I inherited Dad's ears:(:( Other than that, I have been doing great. I get into a lot of stuff and like to stand all of the time. I eat almost anything and I am growing big and strong.

This is how I give kisses. They are nice and wet! Duncan might be a little jealous.

I am learning to drink from a sippy cup. Mom and I took a walk last weekend and I got a little thirsty. I can hold the cup pretty well.

Ahhhhhh....so refreshing!

I thought my caterpillar was thirsty too, so I shared my water!

Is summer really half over? Sad...

Hi everyone~
We have a lot to catch up on. I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th vacation. I sure did. We took what I like to call a long road trip to GB, WI. We stayed at Grandma Karen's. We went up to the north country to see my Great Aunt Colleen and Great Uncle Greg. They were in town visiting from Colorado Springs. Mom and Dad haven't seen them since they got married about 3 years ago. We had a lot of fun. I watched Duncan take his first trip into the lake. He went swimming for the first time and did good. He really didn't want to go in, so mom put him in the water. He was a trooper!

This is Aunt Colleen and Uncle Greg. It was cool to meet them.

I am not so fond of the grass. As you know from a previous post, this is some weird stuff. I just sit in it and try not to move. It is so picky!
This is my first taste of ice cream. It is some pretty good stuff.

So good, I took some more for myself!!!!
