Delveaux Family: October 2009

Hello!
We apologize that it has been so long since putting up some pictures. Notice that I said "we" even though it is really Dad's fault...hehehe! It has been crazy busy. I turned 1 a few weeks ago. It was a blast. I ate a lot of cake and got some new toys and books. I got my very first haircut. I sat like a very big boy the whole time. Then, I got my second tooth. Making some big strides in the world of teeth! I am currently working on some more and have to say, I am not a fan of this teething thing.
Let's see, Dad ran his 5th marathon. He did great! We found him every 5 miles to cheer him on. Actually, Mom went with Auntie Diana and Grandma Karen. I stayed back home with Papa Jack and played. It was way too cold to be outside that long. Dad says this is his last marathon, I think that is okay. He was a trooper!
I am starting to walk. I take a lot of steps, but I don't want to give in 100% quite yet. Dad and Mom will get some video soon and put that up. I do a lot of imitating now. I like to make kissing faces and shake my head a lot.
On a lower note, we had some recent water build up in the car and the garage. It rained a lot last week and there was a leak in the passenger side of the brown car. So we got that fixed and then on Saturday, Mom went to get Duncan food from the garage and there was water leaking from the ceiling. A tube from the bathroom sink sprung a leak and now we have to get the ceiling and the wall and the tube fixed. What a mess! What a lot of water too. Yuck!

This marine also ran the marathon. He carried the flags the whole way and he also had his pack on the whole time too. It weighs 50 pounds. All for Toys for Tots. Amazing and Inspiring.
