I am only 2 weeks away from my first birthday! It's gonna be a blast... I wonder what that big box is in my garage, could that be mine? Or did dad buy himself another toy? I digress. After many months without those pearly whites I point at in mommy's mouth, I'm getting a few. Daddy says I have been an absolute champ, not anything like Oscar the grouch that some kids are when the teeth come. I'll have to take some pictures some other time, right now my new friends are camera shy.
Last weekend Crazy Grandma Karen was in town, she stayed a long weekend and we had one heck of a PARTY! We went running with daddy, had some great new recipes and went to the state fair. The great Minnesota get together, my first one, was filled with foods on a stick. Good stuff! I had me some cookies, those are a little slice of heaven. Next year with my new teeth, I'm gonna get me some big fat bacon OAS (on a stick, if you're down with state fair street lingo) or a pork chop OAS... maybe one of those corn dogs. Those aren't really dogs are they? I couldn't tell Duncan if I actually at a corn dog - he'd be upset. My friend Andrew and his parents went with us to the fair, daddy and Uncle Dave had beer OAS. That was sweet!
For my big birthday, I will be traveling to Green Bay for one party and another one here in MN the next weekend before the marathon. It will be nice to see my great uncle Mike, my other crazy grandma, papa Jack, my aunt Diana, uncle Chad and my partners in crime Ava and Grace.
