Holy hot weather Batman...

Hi everyone!

Okay, so I will start by saying that I can never figure out how to get the pictures in the order that I want, so they are a little backwards. You will have to read to see.

We have had a hot couple of weeks here and it hasn't been very fun. We haven't been playing outside a whole lot and I think Adam and Jake are having withdrawal symptoms from being able to bike together!

We haven't been up to much. We are planning a few improvements to the house. We will be replacing the carpeting in the basement soon so that we can get the toy room set for Jake and baby. We also want to get some furniture and a TV so that we have a nice area to hang out in. We are pretty certain that we will be having a few visitors at the end of the year, so we want to be comfortable and have a cozy place to spend time together!

Adam and I are taking a 2nd "baby moon" this week. He has to go to NY for work on Tuesday and I am meeting him out there on Thursday for a long weekend, sans Jake! Grandma Jan will be hanging out with him! I am so excited....I have never been there, so we will have pictures when we get back.

For now, here are some pictures of our weekend....

I meant to put this at the end, but it wasn't cooperating....Jake fell asleep within a minute after leaving the zoo! He had a blast and was quite a busy man looking for all the different animals.

We went to the butterfly exhibit and they were flying everywhere...

His favorite part of the day was riding the pony. He smiled the entire time!!

Jake really liked seeing the tiger too...There you are, our trip to the zoo. We had a lot of fun! We hope everyone is enjoying summer!
